The Wilson Ministry Center started as an “open doors ministry.”  Today, that same belief continues.  The services provided by the Center meet the needs within the community with programming designed to offer assistance, support, educational and enrichment opportunities for people of all ages. Through our various programs we are working to meet these goals:

·        To provide a safe haven and programming for children

·        To provide programs and services for senior citizens

·        To support strong families

·        To provide liaison, referral and support services to other community organizations

·        To offer educational and cultural opportunities for area residents

·        To provide a central location for local groups and organizations to hold workshops and meetings

Some of the programs offered by the Wilson Ministry Center are:

·        Children: Music Lessons, Youth Chorus, Before and After School childcare programs, Storytime with Santa, summer camp

·        Youth:  Teen dances, karaoke nights

·        Support Groups: AA, Al-Anon, Addiction Connections Resource Family Support Group

·        Tax Assistance Service for seniors

·        Health Services: Monthly visits from the Health Link Mobile Clinic, Lifeline Screenings, Diabetes Classes, Smoking Cessation Classes

·        Cultural Activities – Music Lessons, Concerts

·        Educational Opportunities – GED/ABE Advising

·        Community Newsletter

·        Site of the Harford County Community Policing Office
